The Donkey Sanctuary’s idyllic location lends itself beautifully to a relaxed and tranquil wedding ceremony among 260 acres of rolling East Devon countryside. This spectacular location together with the friendly resident donkeys, mean your special day will truly be like no other and provide lasting memories for you and your wedding guests. Licensed for wedding ceremonies for up to 70 guests, our rustic Donkey Barn is elegantly transformed while retaining its original charm. Our expert team will tastefully dress the Barn with a selection of quality, country-chic decorations, while your donkey guests remain in the background and add that extra special touch to the proceedings. We are also dog-friendly and welcome your fur-friends as part of your day – after all they are an important part of your family and shouldn’t miss out. Rest assured, your wedding album will be full of unique and beautiful images to treasure for years to come – after all, who else has photos with donkeys in the background! Our rustic barn is available for a select number of wedding ceremonies from May – September and hire includes: • Exclusive use of the Barn for up to three hours • Dedicated and experienced wedding coordinator • Chairs for all guests • Registration table • Handpicked, country-chic decorations • Use of the music system • Use of the sanctuary grounds for photography • Staff to set up the Barn and clear away afterwards. We can also provide canapes, drinks, a donkey guest of honour and additional decorations.
