Shilstone

We had the most magical weekend – everything was absolutely perfect so please pass on our thanks to all the Shilstone team for making our wedding day so special (with particular thanks of course to you, Jo and Tara who have all been superstars!)

We just wanted to briefly say an enormous thank you to all of you for going over and above on Saturday. The food was better than we could have possibly imagined and the effort that went into it was evident. Everybody commented on how fabulous everything was, including one ‘best meal I’ve ever had’ comment so please send our thanks to the chef and pass on the glowing praise. It was honestly unforgettable and you were all fantastic. Jo, you’re amazing.

Dear Hollie and Jo and the Shilstone Team. Thank you so much for all your help and advice and hard work in planning and executing the ‘Perfect Wedding’ for our daughter Olivia and her husband Nick! It was such a special day for all of us and all the hard work certainly paid off. The compliments haven’t stopped flowing in about how beautiful Shilstone is and how wonderfully discreet and helpful the staff were. I cannot believe how lucky we were with the weather, it was a true wedding miracle! Many thanks again to you all.

We had our wedding at Shilstone back in August and we cannot thank the entire team enough. From the first meeting to the big day they couldn’t do enough for us. We both fell in love with Shilstone within 10 minutes of arriving back in January 2018 on our first visit and we just knew it was where we wanted to celebrate our marriage. Hollie and the team leading up to the day were always on hand to answer questions and help me when I was having a moment. They also kept our secret entertainment from everyone including my husband. On the big day itself, things didn’t go to plan with my wedding car but everyone at Shilstone made sure the rest of the day ran like clockwork. Tara was there waiting for us and helped (me especially) calm down and was so reassuring. The staff were fantastic in every aspect of the day. Everyone from the second we arrived even till now still comments on the day and how beautiful the venue was. We would both highly recommend Shilstone House to anyone because for us it was everything we dreamt of. Special thanks to Sebastian, Hollie, Tara, Dave and Jo you made our day a day we will never forget. We hope we can one day return. From Mr and Mrs Preece x

The most incredible wedding venue! We wish we could do it all over again! From start to finish Shilstone’s wedding team were so efficient and made us feel so relaxed at all times. Our wedding day was perfect and we could not have asked for any more. Shilstone went above and beyond to create a perfect day for us. The grounds are just breathtaking, the food was delicious and plenty of it! We fell in love with Shilstone the minute we pulled up to view it. Thank you to all the staff for providing us with such a perfect day! We can not fault anything so. Thank you 🙂

We truly had the most incredible day and can’t thank you and the staff enough. All our guests commented on how smoothly things ran, and it was such a joy as the Bride and Groom to know everything was in such safe hands. We were absolutely delighted with the wedding venue at Shilstone House. Sebastian and his team were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We had travelled 5 hours all the way from Yorkshire to see the venue and were so impressed with the staff and whole set up that we booked that day! It really is everything we were looking for and so much more. We cannot wait for our wedding day in 2017.

Just a quick note to thank you and all of your staff at Shilstone for making Helen and Henry’s wedding day on Saturday so memorable for all of us. The venue, as you know, is fabulous and the very gentle and encouraging guidance and steering through the preparation process was so gently and tactfully handled that it made the whole exercise seem totally seamless and relaxed. A great weight off our minds, thus enabling all of us to enjoy the day without getting caught up in last minute panics.
