Judges Country House Hotel

We chose Judges as our wedding venue and we can not fault them at all. It was so easy to arrange due to the help of Suzanne and Paul throughout the planning! The venue is stunning, the food amazing and the service was excellent and efficient considering there were about 100 days guests. All the rooms are comfortable and well sized. The breakfast was a perfect start to the wedding morning and we had a choice of eating in the conservatory or having room service. Everyone of our guest enjoyed their meal and there was not one complaint from them (they would definitely tell the truth!) Last week we took advantage of their ‘Date Night’ menu which is 3 courses, champagne on arrival, a bottle of wine at the table and coffee to finish for 2 people all for £50. This was absolutely amazing and would certainly make it a monthly outing at that price! You couldn’t go to a lesser quality chain restaurant and have 3 courses for that excluding the drinks!

Me and my (new) husband chose Judges for our wedding venue for the beginning of March, the whole events team from our initial enquiry were very helpful, especially the week running up to the wedding when the ‘beast from the east’ hit..... luckily on the day, in the vast surroundings of the hall, the snow made a perfectly beautiful back drop, the food was absolutely beautiful, the staff (from bar, to waiting to the events team) were so friendly and ran a very tight ship. The whole day went smoothly without and hiccups and we all thoroughly enjoyed celebrating through the evening into the night, friends and family alike all commented on what a fabulous day it was. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Suzanne and Paul for all the hard work, setting up the room for us and helping us stick to the timeline of the day (Paul was a fabulous master of ceremonies) ..... thank you everyone, I would highly recommend.

What can I say about 'Judges' Well I was best man at one of my oldest friends wedding which was being held at this amazing venue. They do say the devil is in the detail and there was certainly no lack of details. My wife and I had the added pleasure of staying in one of hotels amazing bedrooms on the top floor. Every single member of staff were very warm, friendly, attentive and professional. The head chef and his kitchen brigade produced and presented a beautiful wedding meal that was far superior to many other venues I have attended. Judges is surrounded by beautiful gardens with mature trees and some cheeky squirrels. All in all I would highly recommend this stunning venue for any up and comming event you may have. A huge thank you to all of staff and management team for helping to make the special day special.

Judges is a very unique Hotel that surpassed our expectation. The Court Yard suite was a fantastic setting for the Wedding Reception, the Wedding Breakfast and the Evening celebration. The Court Yard and Hotel were elegant and extremely breathtaking during the day complemented well by the internal decoration. The grounds were a fantastic setting for the pictures and at night you truly caught the magic of Christmas with the external decorations the lights and the Christmas tree. The Staff: What amazing people you all are. The hard work and effort that is put in by all shows what a professional team you all are. Every request was met with enthusiasm and expertise. Wedding Planner - you are a true professional. When we first met it was hard for us to picture how the wedding would look on the day, you seemed to be able to visualise the picture in our head which was then transformed by you and your team to a reality on the day. You are a very talented person and one who has left us with everlasting memories. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts , you truly made it a day to remember. Wedding Reception: My first words when I walked in was ‘stunning ‘ it felt like we were in another world and not in a small part of a room that would be transformed several times that day. Wedding Breakfast: We were so pleased with how the tables were decorated. The room and tables looked amazing, we couldn’t of asked for anything more. Our compliments to the Chef, the food was excellent and lots of it. One of our guests still talks about the amount of meat he got with his main meal. The Evening Disco: We are not sure if our family dance will go viral on YouTube but we have to confess we really did enjoy it. The final part of the day was again made special by your lovely hardworking staff. The evening buffet was again fantastic and something different to the normal run of the mill buffet. It is very difficult to express our thanks to you all, just saying ‘Thank you’ does not feel fitting for what was such a magical experience on the 28th December 2018. We recently received our professional wedding photographs which we have to say are stunning. The pictures of the children in the grounds are little gems and still bring a tear to our eyes. We would like to pass our sincere and truly heart felt thanks to all the staff at Judges who made our day one that we will remember forever. Keep up the good work your reputation precedes you.

We can't recommend Judges enough to host your wedding reception. A truly wonderful day was had by ourselves and all our guests. This was mainly down to the professionalism of Suzanne, Kim, Emma, Paul and the whole wedding team at Judges. From day 1 of us booking 18 months ago to leaving the morning after our wedding we were given a very professional and personal service. The whole day flowed perfectly, as everything had been taken care of. We definitely recommend going to a wedding fayre at Judges to see for yourself. As soon as we pulled up in a VW camper we hired from Sweet Campers we were greeted by Paul and Kim with bubbly in hand. We used Paul the magician, who mesmerized everyone. Flowerhouse for our flowers, which were excellent. Cool Blu for the backdrop, LOVE letters and sparkly dance floor. Sheer Elegance did our table and seat covers. The disco at night was spot on and they even mixed a CD for us so we could do a 'silly' first dance! The food both day and night was exceptional too. We took advantage of the good weather and the Courtyard by having an acoustic guitarist/singer Nicky Chapman outside up until our first dance. The whole experience will never be forgotten, by ourselves and our guests. The feedback we've had this last week, is that it's the wedding they've ever been to. We got married at Judges Country House on the 18th of February 2018. Suzanne the Events Manager there arranged everything for us. I as the groom would have been lost if it was not for Suzanne and Paul guiding me through what I needed to do. The venue is beautiful and the food was sublime all our guest at the wedding all commented about how good the food was. The bridal suite was amazing the decor being that of a typical country manor and beautifully furnished with a fully stocked mini bar and Jacuzzi bath tub and shower.

Myself and Jackie booked this venue back in January 2017. We have nothing but high praise for Suzanne who planned our big day, she's been great. The actual wedding day was amazing….not only a beautiful venue but a lovely ceremony followed by a fabulous meal and the night reception just topped it off with a disco and buffet. The honeymoon suite was beautiful, as were all the rooms that our friends and family stayed in. In the morning it was a nice breakfast. We cant thank Judges enough...especially Paul, Tim and Leah.

A massive thank you to Judges for the most amazing wedding reception we could have ever dreamt of, every little detail was so thoughtfully attended to, it was a truly magical night! Everything went so well, beautiful hotel, great staff, fabulous DJ, and Suzanne and Kim made sure everything was taken care of from the first enquiry to the end of the night, our guests all commented on how wonderful the night was and the food was amazing! A big thank you to you all for making our evening one that we will never forget.

My partner and I were guests at a wedding and recently stayed overnight at Judges Country House Hotel, The care and quality of service we received was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble with every detail during the wedding and the morning after perfect. Lunch, dinner and breakfast was delicious and again table service was second to none. If you are thinking of taking a long weekend or overnight stay I would certainly recommend Judges Country House Hotel. Our room was quite a surprise, wonderful views of the beautiful gardens stretching as far as you could see. Room was spacious, luxurious with everything you could possibly want, even a television in the bathroom, 10 out of 10 for the Judges Management and staff.

Our amazing wedding day at Judges Hotel, Kirklevington Hall on Monday 17 June 2019... oh my days, where to start?!... absolutely the most beautiful and perfect place to hold a wedding, made even more amazing with the best team ever. They are exemplary! Nothing was too much trouble, every little detail we could have hoped for was accommodated.. the food was totally superb, the way the day just flowed seamlessly with not a single drama... our photographer was in a serious state of over excitement with the venue, the setting, the weather - it was the most spectacular day ever. Thank you Team Judges - Tim, Suzanne, Kim and all your wonderful team, we have truly had the best day ever.
