Raven Hall Country House Hotel

We had the most perfect wedding at Raven Hall and we cannot get over how helpful the staff and the whole Raven Hall team were, the food was simply superb, we’ve had many guests compliment the food and the venue itself. I haven’t heard a single complaint. All of the staff were extremely accommodating to our needs and requests. Even the days after our wedding the staff were so helpful asking how our day was and attending to our needs (we stayed a few extra nights after) Gemma and Ben could not do enough for us and any question we had they came back to us pretty quickly. On the wedding day Ben was incredible ensuring everyone was on time and there were no hiccups! Raven Hall will always be a huge part of our life especially after visiting here for the 11 years that we’ve been together and now getting married here.

Our wedding day at Raven Hall was amazing! The relaxed way of planning and executing our wishes was just right for us. Food, staff, accommodation was first class - just wish we could do it all again!!

We could not compliments this venue enough throughout the whole process we weren’t given 110% by all nothing wasn’t to much to ask nothing was roc much of a big deal for any of them Ben wasn’t the complete package for us from dealing with our requests to having Tovar’s put up with our norm so happy photographer to entertaining our 4yr old daughter whilst waiting to be walked down the aisle he was amazingly and could not thank him enough. From 1st meeting Gemma she’s was a star catered for everything we asked to all the staff on the day making sure everything went went should should and not a frown insight they made our day as oefrct as could possibly be. This hotel deserves this award 110% the most stunning venue with the most to die for views

We recently held our wedding reception in the Great Hall and it was perfect. We chose this venue due to the views and it didn't disappoint. We stayed the night before in one of the hotel rooms. We had our wedding here and it was amazing! Ben and his staff couldn’t do enough for us and the day ran so smoothly we were so impressed, the customer service and food were brilliant, the evening bar staff made us giggle and added something extra to the whole evening! My new husband, Ken, and I enjoyed a fantastic wedding at Raven Hall last Thursday (9 June 2016). I wanted to praise the very courteous and helpful staff throughout the event. All of the staff - with the exception of one person mentioned below - were extremely attentive, friendly, and it was clear that they were doing their utmost to make our stay at Raven Hall the very best of experiences. Gemma and Ben Lambert have provided excellent service from the moment we booked the venue and, of course, Ben was absolutely great on the day itself - going above and beyond to help when the cake from Imaginative Icing fell through - and in general was fantastic at making sure everything kept to schedule but in a relaxed and friendly manner. Others in particular that we would also like to commend for their outstanding service: Dragos, in the evening of the wedding, who took over smoothly from Ben and was really helpful letting guests know about the evening food and fireworks; Julian, who helped Ken and I with the set up the night before and with the event itself on the day; and Bogdan, who we saw throughout with a very positive demeanour and attitude. Just got home from a perfect wedding day yesterday. Everything was absolute perfection, the venue the food the staff.Ben is a dream to work with nothing was to much trouble. I cant thank the staff enough for our perfect day.

Thank you to all the staff at Raven Hall for making our daughter's wedding day extra special. Sarah and Darren White had the most amazing day and nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Raven hall. We can not thank you enough and would recommend you to other people. Special thanks to Ben Lambert for his very professional approach to all aspects of the wedding and his ability to keep cram a panicky mother of the bride.

From the very first day we came into the Hotel to enquire about holding our wedding there, when we met you Gemma, your easy, charming, professional approach made it an easy decision to take - that and the fantastic location of course 😉 - your continued prompt responses to our queries were always appreciated, and a thanks must go to Amy on the reception too. And when we got to meet you Ben in January, the friendly, charming and professional service continued, we were both put at ease all the way through the sometimes stressful moments, and your smile never really left your face even when we slightly overran with the speeches! Thanks to the chef and his team too, lovely food, served by great waiting staff (also at breakfast too). We would also like to give a special mention to Alin who we met this weekend, he was fab and so helpful right through the weekend, nothing was too much trouble - a theme that really applies to all the staff we met from housekeeping, workers out in the grounds and to all the bar staff including the night manager - A great testament to you in the management of the Hotel.
