Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort

We had our wedding on the 15th of October 2024 in Tulfarris and from the day we booked with them they were amazing. All of the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. On the day of our wedding they set up the reception area and dining hall exactly how we wanted which took all of the stress off of us, we had a small change that we needed on the day and they were happy to help. To say we were treated like royalty would be an understatement, the staff made sure we had everything we wanted, they made sure all of our guests were happy aswell. For anyone considering having their wedding at Tulfarris we would highly highly recommend, the staff were amazing, the grounds and the hotel are all gorgeous so you can get some really nice pictures and everything you could want is all on the grounds. Thank you again to everyone at Tulfarris that made our day magical.

From the moment we stepped into Tulfarris for a viewing until we left after our Day 2 celebration, we were treated with kindness by every single staff member we encountered. Tulfarris was a dream to work with from start to finish. No question went unanswered, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Since the wedding, every person we’ve spoken to has echoed the same praises—fabulous staff, amazing food, beautiful setting, and immaculate grounds. A venue like Tulfarris requires a talented team, and they have that in abundance. From the wedding planning team and accommodation management to groundskeeping, cleaning, waiting and bar staff, hotel management, reception, and kitchen teams, it's clear that every individual cares deeply and is passionate about their role. Each is an essential part of a smoothly running operation. We had both our ceremony and reception in Tulfarris and we were so happy with how seamless the day ran. The Manor House for the drinks reception was just fabulous and getting the opportunity to have it the next day for our day 2 celebration was amazing- we got very lucky! We have to mention a few people who made our day extra special: Honora is exceptionally talented at what she does. She was amazing and so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, there was no stone left unturned and you always followed up on everything. You always feel at ease as you know you’re in good hands. Ann Marie in accommodation, a pleasure to deal with and despite many requests for updated lists was always so kind and obliging. All the waiting and bar staff were fabulous from the Friday night we arrived at the bar until breakfast on Monday morning, there is a great team. I do have to mention the lovely Bella who looked after us at the top table on the big day. Such a lovely girl who looked after us so well. Derek and Arnold both ran our big day seamlessly. Arnold was especially kind to my little nephew who was feeling the nerves before walking down the aisle. Derek’s approach was impeccable—he kept everything running smoothly, always present when needed, but never intrusive. We would have been lost without him. I can’t recommend Tulfarris enough, it is the perfect setting for a wedding and between the Manor House, hotel and ballroom area backdropped by the stunning lakes it’s like your own little world for one of the biggest days in your life. We can’t sing their praises highly enough.

We simply cannot compliment all of the staff enough. From being so easy to communicate with in the lead up to the wedding, answering any questions we had and obliging to our requests all the way to the night before, day of and day after our wedding, everyone was a true professional. Everyone we met was so welcoming and excited to share our special few days. The night before we requested a rail for our dresses and suits, access to the banquet room and ceremony room - all of which the staff happily helped with. They also repeatedly asked if we needed any assistance or help. On the day of our wedding, the staff were exceptional. It's clear that they are seasoned pros, well trained and pay significant attention to detail (even with the torrential rain) Arnold in particular, made sure our day ran so smoothly, kept us at ease (even offering me some words of encouragement when I was getting emotional before walking down the aisle) helped keep our Irish dancers as a surprise for Karen without her suspecting a thing, catered to the top table with such care and also made our day really enjoyable with his natural upbeat personality and fun outlook. Everyone has mentioned how the staff operated so smoothly that you would not even know they were there. Please pass on our thank you to each and every person who was part of our day. The food, decorations, hotel, banquet and ceremony rooms will be hard to beat. We have never stayed in such a beautiful place. The rain made no difference because we had so many options for our photographs which was a huge relief. We cannot thank you and all of the staff enough, well done on being such a well oiled and professional group. 12/10 in our eyes. We will be recommending Tulfarris to everyone we can! Wow what a hotel......wow wow wow, well done to everyone involved in this hotel, what makes the hotel even more extra special is the wonderful staff. I stayed here recently for a friends wedding. I will definitely be revisiting again it was outstanding one of the best venues for a wedding I have been too, the location the food the service was amazing.

We had our wedding here and from the moment we arrived, to the second we departed, every single minute was magical. The venue is of a very high standard and the staff went above and beyond for our every need. Every single one of our guests were full of praise at such a memorable wedding, friends became family, and many new friendships were born, and I put this down to the whole occasion. I cannot recommend Tulfarris and it's staff highly enough. We give huge thanks to each and every one involved, most notably, Honora, Derek and Arnold.

I attended a wedding here in the middle of Summer and to say the location is beautiful is an understatement. Food was really good and our bedroom was gorgeous too. Would highly recommend this for a wedding, its very close to Dublin

Can I just say thank you so much for the best day! Truly the staff on the day and leading up and the hotel staff were just amazing. We would like to just say that Liam was amazing on the day! I worked in hospitality for 10 years and he is truly an asset to the hotel! He made it so easy for both of us to be able to be in the moment and enjoy the day.

From the moment we rang to make an appointment to view the hotel 7 weeks before our wedding date to the day we left the hotel after our wedding we couldn’t have wished for anything better. Kate was an absolute pleasure to deal with and she really could not have done enough for us in the short space of time we actually had to get everything organised from when our original hotel cancelled. We look back now and it’s the best thing that happened to us as Tulfarris was out of this world. All our guests are still speaking about our wedding and it really is all down to your hard work and dedication to ensuring the bride and groom have the best day. We would 100% do it all over again as it was the best day of our lives! The food service and staff deserve a 5 star review, there are not enough words to describe the level of service. So we just want to say a massive thank you to you all for making it as memorable as it was. We left Tulfarris 2 days after our wedding still feeling on top of the world! Many thanks

We chose Tulfarris because from the moment we met the team we knew that we could trust them with running the most important day of our lives. The professionalism and warmth of the team stood out in comparison to other venues we visited. Kate and Honora were always prompt to reply to queries via email and always so helpful when we visited. On the day itself, Arnold absolutely stole the show. It's unusual, in my opinion, for guests to comment on the staff but it was recognised how attentive he was and how he kept everything running calmly and smoothly. It was also noted by guests how seamlessly the food was served. We can't thank the Tulfarris team enough for making our dream a reality.

We got married in Tulfarris in September & would highly recommend it to any couple looking for their wedding venue. Honora was so helpful & nothing was a problem. The staff on the day were fantastic & really put us at ease. Food was amazing. Location is beautiful. Would love to do it all over again!
