Lough Rynn Castle, Estate & Gardens

We got married at Lough Rynn in April 2025, and while it might sound cliché, it truly was the most incredible weekend of our lives. We had previously stayed at Lough Rynn and were reminded of its charm during the RDS wedding showcase, where we were overwhelmed with venue options. We decided to revisit Lough Rynn for a tour, and it immediately felt right—it was only the second venue we viewed, but we knew we didn’t need to see any others. The ambience, the beautiful setting, and the warmth of the staff made it clear this was where we wanted to celebrate our big day. Planning our wedding from London, we leaned heavily on video calls with Aisling, who was consistently accommodating, responsive, and supportive. We had a particular vision for how we wanted everything to look and feel, and no request was ever too much for the team. Their willingness to bring our ideas to life made all the difference. Our tasting session with Andrew was a real highlight—fun, relaxed, and informative. He helped us choose the perfect menu for our guests and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. It was especially appreciated that the chef was open to a few small tweaks, and showed great care in accommodating my mum’s food allergies, something often overlooked elsewhere. In the days leading up to the wedding, we stayed at the hotel—something we’d highly recommend to help settle in and soak up the atmosphere. Every member of the team, from reception to housekeeping to bar staff, made us feel genuinely welcome. They regularly stopped for a chat and made us feel completely at home. Returning to the venue after the ceremony was magical. Martin was there waiting with a golf buggy, warm blankets, hot water bottles (just in case!), and of course, glasses of bubbly. The canapés were delicious and plentiful, with a thoughtful tray set aside for the bridal party post-photos. We were completely blown away by the setup in the main ballroom—it was breathtaking! The night before the wedding, we practiced our first dance there around 11pm, while staff were still carefully adding finishing touches. Their dedication and attention to detail were apparent not only to us, but to every guest. Many friends commented on the impeccable service and the number of friendly, professional waiters throughout the day. The celebrations continued into the night with the main bar open late, and the famous Dungeon Bar downstairs keeping the party going until around 4am—complete with post-party pizzas, which were a huge hit! We also decided to host our Day 2 at the hotel, and honestly, it was just as perfect as the main event. We were unsure what to expect, but it turned out to be such a special continuation that many guests said it could have easily been the wedding day itself. The BBQ buffet was beautifully presented and of exceptional quality, and the ballroom was once again transformed and ready for a seamless 2pm start—an impressive turnaround given the celebrations the night before. We could go on and on about our experience, because there are just so many positive things to say. We planned every detail in advance, but the team at Lough Rynn brought an added touch of elegance and magic that made the entire celebration unforgettable. Leaving on Monday was bittersweet—we didn’t want it to end. But we’re already looking forward to returning for future family celebrations. If you’re considering Lough Rynn for your wedding, don’t hesitate—it will exceed every expectation!

I cannot say enough about the staff at Lough Rynn. Lynette and Aisling were invaluable part of my wedding. Always responsive to questions and a great pleasure to work with. The whole staff at Lough Rynn are amazing and professional. top class service! We planned this wedding from California and most of our guests were from the states and also raved about The wedding. The food , the staff the castle hotel were all 4 stars! I am forever great full for Lough Rynn making my wedding an unforgettable day!

After we got engaged there was only one real consideration when it came to the venue. Lough Rynn Castle is a gem in county Leitrim. Close to home we knew the standards the team work to and the grounds are second to none, but from the day we made contact with them Lynette and the team blew us away. From menu tasting with Mario to room reservations with Aoife . any stress was taken away from us , we knew the team in Rynn would look after us and the day went off without a hitch. They are professionals at what they do. Everyone and everything was catered to. Cannot recommend highly enough! We had a ball as did our guests.!

Lough Rynn Castle Wedding Team particularly Helena, Lynette & Tadgh were a dream to work with when planning our special day. The venue was stunning. Lynette went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day, providing an amazing service and showing great attention to detail. The warm blankets and hot water bottles were a lovely touch when been driven around in the buggy for our photos. No ask was too much. All our guests continue to comment on the amazing venue, service and food on the day. Lough Rynn Castle will forever be in our hearts, and we look forward to many visits over the years. What can I say about Lough Rynn. The most stunning castle venue for our wedding on 29.11.24. Everything was perfect from the date we booked the venue in 2021. The grounds, the interior, Christmas decorations, down to the amazing function room, bedrooms and meal we got served on our wedding day. Special thanks to our wedding coordinator Aisling Harte. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very responsive. I would have no issues in recommend Aisling and Lough Rynn to any future couples. We cannot wait to come back and visit. Lough Rynn is such a beautiful venue. The wedding coordinator Lynette was so helpful and kind to us throughout our wedding plans. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our family and friends were so complimentary of all the staff, the food and the beautiful venue on the day. We would highly recommend Lough Rynn.

We got married in Lough Rynn on the 7th of December 2024 and we could not recommend the venue enough. From our initial meeting with the wedding planners rights through to the day of our wedding, the staff at Lough Rynn went above and beyond to assist us in organising every detail of our day. A special mention to Aisling Harte who guided us through everything and Yuliya who helped also assisted in the days before. The wedding day itself was excellent- even when the hotel lost water and power as a result of Storm Dara; the day went ahead like nothing had even happened- the staff were excellent on the day and the day went so smoothly. The food- Canapés, Sandwiches etc and the Wedding dinner was of the highest quality with every guest speaking so highly of the food and the service provided. The evening food was also highly praised with no complaints from one person in relation to any aspect of the food. Overall, the venue and its staff are definitely 10 out of 10 making our wedding day so special and unforgettable.

It’s been a little over a month now since we got married in the beautiful Lough Rynn Castle. We had the most incredible day from start to finish. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side but we still got to go out during the breaks of rain to get some lovely photos. Thanks to the lovely Aidan too who drove us around in the golf buggy and had lots of towels and umbrellas just in case! The staff were all amazing and so attentive. Lynette was our wedding coordinator and she was always so helpful and supportive during the lead up to the wedding. On the day Tadhg and Andrew were amazing. Again so attentive and making sure everything ran smoothly. The room itself after all the renovations is stunning. The food was lovely with big portions. So many of our guests have said what an amazing venue it was and overall a great day. We can’t thank all the staff enough at Lough Rynn. We had the most magical day and it was more than we could have ever wished for.
