Description

We are proud to offer Civil Ceremonies either in the historic Quex House with it's beautifully carved staircase or under our stunning Victorian style Gazebo with a backdrop of our beautifully landscaped 15 acres of garden. We only hold one wedding a day, giving couples our full and undivided attention. If the weather does not allow for your ceremony to be outside, we have indoor options available, but your day will be perfect whatever the weather. There are numerous photographic opportunities with a selection of unique backdrops. No country house would be complete without extensive gardens, and Quex is no exception with acres of beautiful, informal gardens available including lawns, herbaceous boarders, ponds and fountains, a croquet lawn and a Victorian walled garden. Quex House is located next to the Powell-Cotton Museum which is home to a world class collection of natural history. The African Gallery is available to hire for your drinks reception and is a memorable talking point for guests of all ages. Being nestled within this large country estate, we are lucky enough to be able to have fireworks - what a perfect way to finish your special day!

Winter Wedding!

Quex Park is an idyllic venue for any event, but especially a wedding. As we had a winter wedding, we had the “hall” in Quex house itself as our ceremony room. It has a vintage charm to it and the interior of the house is a superb backdrop for photographs. The museum is a unique focal point for guests to want around and explore and gallery one is splendid place to have the post ceremony drinks and nibbles. The main event hall is spacious, well lit and coloured quite neutrally, so it just takes a couple of decorations to swing the room into the theme you want. Access and facilities are good and the staff were all very helpful and had welcoming smiles on their faces all night. Paired with the food provided from Mama Feel Goods, this venue has everything you could possibly need and the organisers there have helped every step of the way from initial planning to on the day support.
