Description

At The Wellbeing Farm, we know that wedding planning can be stressful. That’s why we’ve created a unique wedding venue that specialises in delivering stress-free, fun, and personalised weddings. How do we do this, you ask? Incredible Venue Co-ordination Through a structured programme of meetings with our friendly venue co-ordinators, who’ll be with you all the way on your journey, from your first viewing to the wedding day itself. Plus, if you ever need to speak, we’re only ever a phone call away. Authentic Farm Experience You’ll have exclusive use of our countryside farm on your wedding day in the picturesque West Pennine Moors. What sort of farm would we be if we didn’t have animals? We share the farm with our friendly llamas, alpacas, and donkeys! There are two places to get married at the farm, our wedding barn, and our outdoor wedding pavilion, each seating 170 guests, or 300 standing guests. Plus, coming this year, we have a smaller space coming for intimate weddings. Quality Food & Drink All food is sourced locally, even going as far to grow edible flowers on the farm! We have a range of food options, from party-style food to trendy grazing table to more formal affairs. There are three bars at the farm, all stocked with a massive range of draughts, soft drinks, and spirits, we even have prosecco on tap! Sustainable Venue All power on the farm is generated from our wind turbine, we’ve banned single-use plastics, and our food waste goes into the compost. And Much More! We have a tipi with a smokeless fire, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, a range of garden games, two wedding accommodations and a llama-themed photo booth! We hold regular Wedding Open Days and are we are open EVERY Wednesday 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm for you to book (via website) to view the Barn and see that it is a venue like no other! We can't wait to meet you!!

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Celia
Thank you so much for finding our fun, unique and magical wedding venue. It is absolutely impossible to try and describe all of the above in a brochure or a website and the farm facilities are constantly changing. It is also difficult to tell you how much a wedding will cost without knowing more about you. I can GUARANTEE that our venue is unlike any other venue which you will come across and I do hope you come and visit, as we believe that our photos and videos just don’t do the farm justice.

Our perfect day!

We had our entire day at The Wellbeing Farm and it was the best decision we could have made. We were pretty clueless when it came to planning the wedding but Rachael and Gilly helped us every step of the way making the whole process feel relaxed and easy. The end result was better than we could have imagined, it was really magical and felt completely unique to us. One of the most important things for us was the food and it really was spot on, all our guests complimented it! Finally making it possible to have our dog at the wedding was the icing on the cake. Thank you for helping us create our perfect day! Amy & Mike

There isn’t just one or two things to mention in a review about the Wellbeing Farm !! There isn’t enough descriptive words either! So in short , we would say the whole package from the first meeting, the support and advice, the staff, the friendliness, the venue , the food, the animals , the views , the atmosphere just make for a perfect wedding ! wow, what an amazing wedding day.

It's hard to find the words to describe our wedding day at the wellbeing farm, there are so many! but to list a few it was rustic, magical, organised, quirky, fun and over all just perfect. The staff from the moment we booked to saying goodbye at the end of our wedding where great, they made me and my new husband feel as if we where the only couple to be getting married there, that for me was so important. The food at our wedding was incredible, we opted for the feast and all our guests commented on how delicious it all was, the meat, the dauphinoise potatoes and the cake cart where all brilliant. The guests absolutely loved seeing the llamas and donkeys, what a great touch to a super day. My only teeny tiny issue I had was the llamas didn't have there dicky bows on at our wedding which they usually did wear but in the grand scheme of things it was only a minor gripe, maybe they where having a dress down day! 😁 I would recommend this venue to any couple looking to get married somewhere that will get your guests talking, all of our wedding guests have done nothing but tell us how fantastic of a venue it was, how brilliant the staff where and how all round fun and colourful the whole day was. I can't thank Celia, Rachel, Gilly and all the staff at the wellbeing farm enough for helping us have the most perfect, wonderful day and we now have memories to treasure for a life time. The team at the Wellbeing Farm were absolutely fantastic...

The team at the Wellbeing Farm were absolutely fantastic. Due to an illness in my family, we decided to plan the wedding in just 6 weeks, which some venues refused to accommodate but not The Wellbeing Farm! Celia and the team could not do enough for us. The venue, food and the running of the day were fantastic, to which all our guests passed comments. Some of our guests are thinking of having their wedding there too. Best wedding venue" and "best wedding ever" were comments made by our guests."

Celia...

Celia, Sara and the team were amazing every step of the way through planning our wedding. Nothing was too weird or wonderful, even providing a photogenic duck and allowing me to hide my husband's wedding present (a car). Our day was even better than we dreamed and everyone who came told us how different and unique our day had been. The food was fantastic and the relaxed atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. We can't thank them enough for making our day so special.

A beautiful rustic farm in the countryside with amazing views...

A beautiful rustic farm in the countryside with amazing views! It comes to life at night with its beautiful canopy of amazing lights- all my guests raved about it! The food is amazing - afternoon tea, a beautiful alternative to the traditional wedding breakfast and in the evening a hog roast, which was the best I've ever eaten. The team are every brides dream -so accommodating & the day it was co-ordinated with precision. I could just relax & enjoy the best day of my life!
