Description

The Forest Centre is the natural place to get married - catering for both ceremonies and celebrations, we are set amongst the beautiful lakes and woodlands of the Millennium Country Park, Bedfordshire. The Centre can cater for up to 65 day guests, and 250 in the evening, with scope for larger weddings in a hired marquee, on our private paddock. We provide a range of in-house catering - from a traditional 3 course meal, to an outdoor barbecue or hog roast, to a lighter buffer or afternoon tea. Our £5995* package includes everything you need for your big day - from the decor, to Prosecco, to evening entertainment. All funds raised at the Centre go back into the creation of new woodlands within the Forest of Marston Vale, making the Forest a better place to live, work and play for now, and for future generations.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

Describe the best wedding that happened at The Forest Centre?

Our previous Catering Manager Sam married her fiance Dean a few years ago in a pink and black themed do, and despite the dodgy British weather, they had an amazing marquee party, complete with whiskey bar, flip-flops and pink sweet table!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Share out the stress! Don't take everything on yourself - even if you are a perfectionist, you have carefully selected your bridesmaids and groomsmen: use them! They will be more than happy to share in the responsibilities of the run up to the big day, and the day itself.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We love the use of living flowers, and trees at weddings. Something that can be planted again, either by the guests or the couple themselves, as a lovely, permanent reminder of the day.

Describe The Forest Centre in 5 adjectives

Natural, unique, eco, different, memorable

Where’s the best photo spot at The Forest Centre?

In our stunning sensory garden, in the archway.

What is The Forest Centre most unique feature?

All funds raised go towards the creation of the Forest of Marston Vale, Bedfordshire.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We have planted over 1 million trees so far, hitting nearly half of our target for 30% tree cover within the Forest.
