The Cotswold Plough Hotel offers you your own piece of Cotswold charm on your wedding day. Situated in the Cotswold village of Clanfield, The Cotswold Plough Hotel is the perfect back drop for your perfect day. The 17th Century House is set within beautiful grounds and the house itself is an ideal backdrop for those all-important wedding photos. The Hotel has 11 en-suite bedrooms and can offer space for up to 60 people internally or for numbers above this the grounds lend themselves to a marquee based celebration. The Plough has many traditional features but can be used for different styles of wedding, from small elegant weddings to large stylish celebrations. All of our weddings have the option of having exclusive use of the hotel either just for the day or for a weekend. Exclusive use weddings are something we encourage and we don’t charge large fees for this. Whether it is exclusive use just for the day of your wedding or for a weekend we can work with you and advise on how best to achieve exactly what you wish for. We have a licence to conduct both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships on site. Alternatively, Clanfield Church is also within walking distance and is a stunning setting to exchange your vows. Our sunshine terrace is the ideal space for you to take those all-important photos, the terrace is south facing and gives you a perfect back drop of the hotel in every shot. The terrace leads on to the croquet lawn and adds a little haven for children to play, guests to enjoy a drink to toast the happy couple and for you to stand back and take in your perfect wedding day. We are not restricted by wedding packages and we specialise in tailoring weddings to your needs. We advise arranging to visit the venue and discuss your requirements in detail with our dedicated wedding co-ordinator who will create your fully bespoke package based on your dreams and needs.
