National Space Centre

We can't thank the team at the NSC for truly making our dreams come true, and going beyond what we could have imagined. I had a nervous mum thanks to choosing such a unique venue, but my parents, family and our guests were swept off their feet by how incredible it all was. The team looked after us from the minute we stepped into the venue, and made sure we and all of our guests had a night to remember. The buffet was incredible, the decorations were indescribably fantastic (we couldn't believe how beautiful it looked) and having our ceremony in the stunning planetarium just blew us away. We would thank the team every day for the rest of our lives if we could, as it's a wedding that everyone from young to old said it was the best wedding they've been to, with so much fun to be had. Even families who came from so far, had planned to leave by 8pm, but were still on the dance floor as no one wanted to leave! You deserve all the awards on this planet, and were by our sides from start to finish. I also wanted to send love to all the waiting and events staff for smiling all through the night too, making it feel like you were enjoying yourselves too - it made a difference to us. Thank you, to Jess and all the team.

The team put on an absolutely fantastic wedding for us in September 2017, the ceremony had so many extra touches from the choices of planetarium backdrop, great choices of lighting and music and the amazing space cocktails. We can’t thank the team enough and our friends and family still talk about our unique wedding.

Jess was simply the best wedding co-ordinator. She knew her stuff, was always available to meet and all the little extras we wanted on the day were wonderfully incorporated

We had our wedding here just over a month ago and still cannot get over how fantastic our day was. From the point of initially getting in touch with Jess to make an enquiry right up to the day everything went fantastically, Jess and the team were amazing ensuring everything was organised before we even really had to ask. On the day the food was fantastic and service from the staff was outstanding. To Jess and Emily, My Husband and I would like to thank you both so much for the fabulous day and smooth operation, we couldn’t have done it better ourselves, everything was prefect, even when the best man managed to forget his speech. The food was amazing and a huge thank you to the catering team, all I heard was how they were the best steaks everyone had, and plenty of food even for some of the evening guests. I hold my hands up I’m definitely not the most organised person but hopefully it was plain sailing for the team as well. Another huge thank you goes to Ashley for helping with all the music/visuals absolute star! It was a perfect day surrounded by friends and family and you guys did that for us, it meant the world. (all awful space puns intended) to everyone and wish we could do it all over again. Our wedding experience with the Space Centre was better than we could have ever hoped for throughout. Gemma, the co-ordinate was superb in her planning and organising of all meetings as well as the big day itself. Alongside Jess the preparations were thorough and we felt very comfortable leaving them in charge of organising everything. We never doubted that everything would be ready in time and we were blown away with how wonderful the venue looked. The options for walk throughs were incredibly helpful and it gave us the opportunity to see how everything would come together and we could tell every time we visited how organised the staff were. Every email we sent before the wedding was replied to quickly and every adjustment we wanted was catered for. On the night the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and on hand to make the evening run perfectly. We were all amazed with how incredibly everything went, our family and friends have all said to us how wonderful they thought everything was, and haven't stopped talking about it since! The planetarium as ceremony venue is unique and a truly special place to be married. The bespoke nature of the package enabled us to tailor every detail of the evening, making our wedding feel really personal to us. We couldn't be happier that we chose the Space Centre as our wedding venue, and we want to say a huge thank you to all the staff for their help, support and dedication which made our wedding unforgettable! Having our wedding at The National Space Centre was so unique and magical, not just for us as the bride and groom who love all things space, but also for our family and friends. We loved getting married under the stars and treating our guests to a planetarium showing, rocket launch, space cocktails and a 3 course meal! The venue is perfect for all ages, which your guests can explore throughout your big day. There’s also a lovely area in the grounds for beautiful photos by the river, where the industrial feel of the space centre collides with nature perfectly. The staff will make sure all your little details come to life and that your wedding day is truly ‘out of this world’!!

Jess, I don’t know where to start in thanking you and your team for everything you did for us. You organised every second so well and every one of your staff were smiling all night, genuinely wanting to support us. it made such a difference and every single person enjoyed themselves and are still talking about the ‘best wedding’ ever. Dear Jess, I am writing to thank you and all your fantastic staff who made our daughter’s wedding, last Saturday, so wonderful. It was everything that we hoped it would be and we couldn’t have wished for more. Everyone I have spoken to since the weekend has remarked on how much they enjoyed themselves and what a special and unique setting it was for the wedding. Lucy and Richard are both delighted at how well everything went, and they have asked me to pass on their thanks to you for making everything run so smoothly, so that they could relax and enjoy their wedding day.
