Wonderful day

Our wedding went very well and we had a wonderful day. The wedding package for 50 guests gave us exactly the type of wedding we were looking for at a price that we thought was good value. The events manager helped us to plan all the details in advance, and did a great job of keeping in touch with us before the wedding, and decorating the room on the day. The food was all delicious and well received, and the chef took on board our comments for amending the kid's set menu slightly to cater for all the children at our wedding. The private outside space was fantastic for the breaks between the ceremony and the meal, and between the meal and the evening reception. All the children loved the swing and the grass to run around on, and the adults liked the seating area. All the staff at the hotel were very helpful and attentive on the wedding day (as well as the days before and after the wedding), and were available to act quickly on all our requests during the day. All in all, a great venue for a wedding and definitely well recommended!

From our very first visit to view the venue, to check-out the morning after the big day, we could not fault the Lambert Hotel. Every single hope and expectation was met above and beyond our dreams. Megan, the Wedding Coordinator was so helpful, every little detail was attended to, all our endless questions answered promptly and expertly. She even came in on the morning of her holiday to make sure all was as we wanted - what a star!! The food was superb, the menu we had chosen was from the wedding package, making our choices from the taster menu. We did have trouble choosing however, as everything was so delicious and extremely well presented. The chef did an exceptional job on the day as our speeches did go on a bit longer than we anticipated, he managed to get 50 meals out altogether, piping hot and the chicken was superb, we had lots of complementary comments from our guests. Even the fussy vegetarians were expertly catered for. The evening buffet was also beautifully presented, delicious and plentiful. All of the hotel staff were very attentive during the day, especially the duty manager who ensured that everything ran like clockwork and we were all where we were supposed to be at the right times. We also booked the house DJ, who was fantastic playing such a wide selection that he kept the dance floor full all evening. We would like to thank everybody at the Lambert Hotel for making our special day exceptionally memorable for us and our guests.
