The thing we loved most about Compton Verney was setting - the galleries, the spaces, the interiors, the exteriors, the landscape - were just so beautiful and ethereally romantic. It was the perfect place for the perfect day with our friends and family.

From start to finish the Compton Verney team took care of all our needs and the day itself was brilliantly managed. To have such a beautiful venue available and with so much flexibility about it's use, we could not be happier.

Thank you so much for giving our daughter and her husband such a special day, I am sure none of us will forget. Such a lovely team always prepared to go the extra mile. Our wedding at Compton Verney was a dream come true, I had grown up visiting CV and had always been in awe of the most amazing building, artwork and grounds and when it came to choosing our wedding venue I couldn't think of anywhere better to celebrate our marriage. I took my fiancé to visit and he fell in love with it too - we didn't look anywhere else! And we booked CV the very same week. We had the most perfect day with all our friends and family, with memories we shall treasure forever. The staff were so friendly and made the day flow seamlessly, we wouldn't change a thing!!

From the first day we visited Compton Verney to view it as a potential wedding venue we both fell for its beauty, charm and understated glamour. It truly is a magical place that grabs you from the moment you turn the corner and view the house over the lake. The staff worked tirelessly to make our wedding day perfect and we felt that we had their full attention at every meeting. Our guests all commented on the venue, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the catering and we couldn’t have faulted anything. Thank you for making our day so perfect.

We held our wedding reception at Compton Verney in November 2019. The venue itself its absolutely stunning surrounded by beautiful grounds. The best part of the day however has to have been the staff, led by Sally on the day. They made the drinks, eating, and dancing go so smoothly and made us feel so relaxed during the day. We would 100% recommend Compton Verney as a place to have your wedding celebrations!

Compton Verney is magnificently stunning. The chapel where we wed was tranquil, the food was delicious, the staff were committed & attentive. Choosing Compton Verney to host our wedding was the best decision we made.

Our wedding at Compton Verney was an absolute dream for us. We were so pleased that the Chapel was licensed so we could use it for our civil ceremony - it really was a stunning setting. The Compton Verney team were extremely professional on the day and a number of our guests commented on how delightful they were. Anona ensured that our day ran smoothly and seamlessly, and we were able to fully enjoy the day without worrying about any of the details. An amazing wedding venue, with so many lovely memories. When we initially looked at Compton Verney we were blown away by how stunning it is as a venue, with the chapel available for civil ceremonies it seemed too good to be true. Our only reservation was that being such a fab venue, they might restrict our choices, or not be very personal but we soon realised this was not true at all. The venue staff are all fantastic, from the sales manager, wedding planner and head of catering who were always available to help us plan our day, right through to all the people who help on the actual day and cannot do enough to make sure you have the best day ever and can just step back and not even lift a finger. The venue were great at helping our ideas come to life and supported our ideas making them all possible. The catchphrase I came to love was “yes, we can do that”. They also suggested areas they could help, but never put pressure on us to buy anything extra. I felt like the day was in safe hands well in advance. The day itself was fantastic, the food was outstanding and the day flowed so smoothly, thanks to the hard work and politeness and friendliness of all of the staff- thank you all so much!
