Incredible service, a lovely location, delicious food and the walled garden is just magical

There are no words to describe just how grateful we are for making our wedding day SO magical. Georgia, Adam and the team gave us the perfect day with memories we shall never forget. We cannot thank you enough for the kindness all of the Chewton Glen staff showed us from the minute we arrived until the moment we departed. The respect all the CG staff showed us and all of our guests was also amazing and quite honestly served to make our special day even more special. It was the best day of our lives!

From our initial meeting, it was clear Georgia was enthusiastic, detail orientated, and genuinely excited about our day. We went through our ideas and expectations of the day itself, all the while Georgia furiously scribbling my disjointed thought process. I stayed the night before the wedding and got a phone call to the room from Georgia before she left for the day, just to check in and see that I was ok which was very lovely and unexpected. On the day, Georgia was running around ensuring everything was taken care of, I didn’t even have to check I just knew she had it under control and that it would be exactly as I’d described to her in our previous meetings. Adam and Peter made up the team taking care of us for the day, from counting me in to my entrance, announcing us into the room as husband and wife, appearing out of absolutely nowhere to top up drinks, they too were instrumental in making our imagined day come to life. Every single one of our guests commented on how impeccable the service was, and how ‘well looked after’ they were. All agreed that the food was incredible. Not at any point did we feel as though a request was too much, and for that we are incredibly grateful to Chewton Glen and the entire staff team on hand. I would not hesitate to recommend Chewton Glen as your wedding venue. The rooms and grounds are stunning, and whatever you picture your big (or small) day to be, Chewton Glen will only enhance that experience for you. The Chewton Glen will always hold a special place in our hearts and the hearts of our family members.

What can we say, only - Thank you so much for organising our special day with us and making it completely incredible Georgia. Every member of your team went above and beyond to ensure that we had an unforgettable day, which we did. You made our dream wedding happen. At short notice, you managed to pull off a 5* event for us. We were treated as if we had spent triple what we did, nothing was too much trouble,all of the staff were fabulous. You made our day perfect and us feel so special. Thank you.

We really did have an amazing weekend! Everyone is still talking about how fantastic the wedding was and we wish we could do it all again. Everything was done perfectly down to the very last detail. We were so glad that we chose to have our special day at Chewton Glen. Georgia, you were fantastic also, we really appreciated your help and we enjoyed working with you in planning the wedding. I know that I have sent Georgia a number of emails thanking you all and expressing our delight with our wedding weekend but we wanted to write more formally so that you have it in manuscript what ROCK STARS you all are and we don't have enough words to convey how wonderful you made our wedding weekend. Thank you so much for creating for us what was, hands down, the perfect weekend. You manage to combine class and sophistication with simple charm, out-of-this-world professionalism with warmth and endless personal touches, a place that looks like the poster-house for Home and Garden Magazine with a place that feels like our home. Perfect organisation and flawless service without a sense of itinerary and with smiles and enthusiasm that make it all seem effortless and delivering the best hotel experience any of us had ever had with fun, laughter and an abundance of character and kindness. In short, we loved every second of our time with you. Every bespoke, considered touch and every interaction with every member of staff. Dear management, I wanted to write to you to say how happy we were with our wedding day on 6th April 2019. The whole staff on the day were absolutely brilliant. I want to give a special thank you to Georgia Blacknell who was our first point of contact when we first enquired and then organised the whole process and day for us. Georgia was so friendly and professional throughout every stage and made the wedding planning process so relaxed and stress free for us. She is an absolute credit to the Chewton Glen and we couldn’t of hoped for a better experience. Also, Adam who co managed alongside Georgia was brilliant and the whole day and evening ran so smoothly and the service and attention to details was amazing. Every single staff member we saw on the day was so kind and couldn’t do more to help us. We had the most amazing memorable day and we don’t think we could of picked a better venue for our wedding. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day so special. We will be sure to come back soon!

The two glasses of Champagne, sweetly offered on a tray, are the best possible tonic to their overwhelming arrival at the 5* country house that's become their second home. Their Wedding Coordinator has been an absolute blessing, every moment of the planning process made an utter joy. Choosing to host their reception at Chewton Glen is a reflection of their strong faith in all it has to offer and deliver. We got married at the Chewton Glen in April and we still cannot believe what a fantastic experience we had. Georgia, the wedding coordinator, was so helpful and after our first meeting knew exactly our vision. She contacted suppliers for us and really took the stress out of lots of the planning. I stayed the night before and the general manager and staff all came to greet me and made me feel so special. We had a small reception meal in the Oak End room and Georgia helped to ensure it looked perfect. Adam was also absolutely fantastic on the wedding day and was so understanding and accommodating. The service is second to none, as is the food, the accommodation and everything in between. We had the most perfect day and that was hugely down to the Chewton Glen and the staff. They were all so kind, welcoming and helpful and we are excited to be able to come and stay for many years to come. I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough as a wedding venue or somewhere to stay for a few days.
