South Coast Weddings

Ollie and I would like to say a huge thanks to Sam and her lovely sister for their on-the-day help with our wedding. We had a festival style wedding, with quite a relaxed vibe, however, whilst our guests were relaxing and lapping up our free bar, Sam and her sister were working super hard behind the scenes to make sure all was running smoothly so that all of the bridal party could enjoy the day without any worry. We'd all been working very hard in the run-up to the weekend, so the fact we could let our hair down on the day and night was such a relief. Any random task, Sam was happy to help - from first-dance confetti cannon blasting to beer-holding during photos, plus everything she helped with in the evening (I'm not too sure what that was because I wasn't made aware of any issues, nor was I needed for anything - and that's all I could ask for really!).x

Sam is absolutely incredible. I met her just 24 hours before my friend’s wedding, which nearly had to be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions. Sam essentially replanned and organised a whole new wedding in about 8 hours. The end result was still absolutely in keeping with the bride and groom’s vision, but Sam took on all the responsibility and rallied her excellent network of local vendors and contacts to ensure the day went ahead. I cannot stress enough how great she is and if you are getting married in the area, she is an absolutely invaluable resource and wonderful human.

Sam is super professional and so knowledgable. If she doesn’t know the answer she’ll know someone who’s does !

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting a wedding Sam had helped plan. Due to storm damage the wedding venue and plan for the day was changed the day before the wedding! Sam seemed to just take this in her stride, was a calming influence throughout the whole process and on the day too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend that a) you get a planner involved with your wedding and b) not just any planner, you use Sam!! She’s the best.

As a fellow Wedding Supplier I have worked with Sam on many events and quite simply she is the best. She is organised, co-ordinates the weddings to perfection and goes beyond and above what her role is, and with a huge smile on her face. Sam delivers the wedding of dreams to her clients and her weddings are the best I’ve been involved with.

I have worked with Sam on many occasions with my son who is a photographer and every thing runs so smoothly that you don’t notice the joins. I have also supplied her with bunting and table clothes made at the very last minute for a party and it just seems to all come together and she always seems so calm even though you know her legs are paddling under water.

We had a fantastic time at Jacqui and Phoebe’s wedding. The suppliers on the day recommended by Sam’ at South Coast Events were amazing and Sam’s wealth of knowledge was in evidence during the day.

I've known Sam for a few years now, and knew right away I would be booking Sam for Day Of Co-ordination, but I couldn't imagine what a support she would be. During the 2 years of planning, she was never too busy to answer my questions, make a recommendation, or help me make a tough decision. Even more than that, my Mum's health meant that, at one point, we thought we might have to bring the wedding forward by nearly a year. Sam was a rock. She listened to my tears and panic, sympathised, and reassured, way above and beyond a "supplier", I'm proud to call her a friend. We were very lucky and, in the end, could stick to our original date, and the day could not have gone smoother. Sam worked away in the background, making sure everything happened when it was supposed to, that everything looked spectacular and that all our guests had everything they needed, including my poorly Mum! The band we booked for our evening reception had to cancel on the morning of our wedding, due to illness, but sent a replacement, and Sam made sure that 1) I didn't panic and 2) our new musicians felt right at home. I really can't emphasise enough how lovely it was to have Sam working with us, and just how good she is at that job. You will not regret hiring Sam.
