Andy was simply fantastic. Neither my partner nor I are very good with photos, but Andy was great at going through all aspects of the day and listening to what we wanted. He kept things ready relaxed and all our friends commmented on how great he was, and the photos were great. No long line ups with everyone posed, but great candid shots, with real smiles. Can’t recommend him enough.

From the very start where the guests were arriving, all the way through to the evening 80s band, the action shots really showed how much everyone enjoyed the moment. We love the way they tell the story of the wedding and how natural they all are .. I even have my eyes open on all the pictures, which is a first. No photographer has ever managed that! Being the Bride and Groom, we spent most of the day chatting and laughing with friends and family, so missed a lot of the action which Andy took – he saw all that we missed and a lot more. Friends and family we've shown the photos to are really impressed and comment on how natural everyone looks. Thanks for putting everyone at ease. I’ve had a genuine phobia of photos ever since I was a small child, so the thought of having someone taking photos all day for my wedding filled me with terrible anxiety. Thank god we found Andy. He listened to my worries and ask questions to really understand what we wanted and how to make me feel more comfortable. He explained the best way to organise things and was really flexible throughout the day. The guests thought he was great, and commented on how friendly he was and how relaxed they felt. We didn’t want lots of staged photos but there was no fear of missing people out, as we discovered. Andy had taken loads of candid shots, all of our friends and family were there, not posing or standing awkwardly, but laughing, talking and being themselves. Andy really was amazing at capturing moments we might have missed, in fact, there is one photo of my parents that I will treasure forever. I may not have been the easiest bride for Andy, but I may just be the most impressed. If you are reading this review and wondering wether to book him, then do it...you won’t regret it!

On the wedding day itself we couldn't have asked for more. Andy arrived and immediately set to work capturing the morning with my wife and bridesmaids getting ready. The shots were well composed and conveyed the story of the morning. For the ceremony itself Andy put us at ease before the formal proceedings and also took candid pictures throughout. He knew instinctively who the important people in the party were and managed to get all of them into the album. At the reception Andy really came into his own. The essence of the day was that it should be relaxed and informal with a good party at the end. Again, the candid shots were the best, and when we reviewed the photos we were very happy with the quality and the feeling that we were back there again. Towards the end of the reception Andy arranged to print off a few small keepsake photos which we weren't expecting and was a nice touch. After the day Andy put all the pictures on his website but still the good service didn't stop! He went round to my Father in Laws house to drop off a framed print and also came round to deliver our own DVD which came in a lovely presentation box. We can't recommend Andy highly enough, he was professional yet relaxed enough to put as at ease, always there yet never imposing and provided great service from start to finish. If you are looking for a photographer stop your search now and get in contact with him, you won't regret it!

Andy is without a doubt an incredibly kind, thoughtful, detailed, intuitive, methodical, knowledgeable and excellent photographer. We found Andy through his website and from the moment we contacted him, Andy was helpful and honest. He captured so many special moments throughout our wedding day - moments we didn't even realise we were in, until we saw the photos. Andy is very light-footed (you really won't know he's there!) and true to his candid, documentary style, he really followed our entire wedding journey. Andy spent a fair amount of time speaking with us before the wedding and the photos show that he got to know us and what mattered to us. Had a great feeling about Andy from the start! He was easy going and relaxed and understood perfectly what we wanted. He went above and beyond by visiting the venue first and getting a feel for it.
