What is your most memorable wedding?
My own! I loved our wedding and would do it over again exactly the same way in a second... We planned our wedding to suit us and what we wanted and it still makes me smile thinking about it - 10 years later!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, relaxed, documentary, storytelling, unobtrusive
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan the day that you want for yourselves - and make sure to stop and enjoy it!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
It may sound silly but sometimes you wedding day can go so fast the chance for you to be alone together to get a few shots of just you two is very limited. I always encourage you to schedule in time for us to escape - even if it is just for a few minutes.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Don't worry! Umbrella's do a very good job! It's also good luck when it rains on your wedding day - it comes from the phrase "tying the knot". If you tie a knot and it gets wet, it's even harder to untie suggesting that a rainy wedding will ensure longevity.
Describe how you got into photography.
I grew up in a family where everyone had a camera and I got my first one in elementary school. But it wasn’t until a friend asked me to photograph their wedding that the transition from an amateur photographer began. I never really planned on that happening but I’m so glad it did. Photography is a creative outlet for me that is so satisfying, ever so addictive and I have met some lovely people through it.
