Diane Frazer Photography Full Description
Each wedding is unique; all are different in their own way which allows Diane to express her creativity creating lovely memories to be cherished for many years after. Get a lovely combination of unobtrusive reportage coverage, fun group pictures, candid moments and portraits of the wedding couple.
Diane Frazer has been photographing professionally since 2005 and started her business in autumn 2008. In 2018 she won South East Wedding Photographer of the Year at The English Wedding Awards and was a finalist in 2019. She achieved a First-class BA (Hons) Professional Photographic Imaging and is a member of The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP). Diane is a preferred supplier for the Crowne Plaza (Reading), Bisham Abbey, Herons Farm, The Roseate (Reading) and Park House (University of Reading).
Her wedding photography packages are flexible and can be personalised to meet the couple's needs as they plan their wedding. Coverage can start with the preparations and through to the end of the first dance or shorter coverage is available, if preferred.
All packages are digital only initially and include high resolution photographs on a USB stick to share with family and friends, no limit to the number of digital photographs you receive (400+ for full day coverage), every photograph subtly airbrushed, engagement portrait session at the wedding venue and flexibility to confirm coverage length three months before the date.
Albums, framed photos, canvas, prints and giftware are optional after you've seen your photos. Album designs are bespoke and inspired by your theme (flowers, rustic, stationery, Christmas, vintage, decorations and venue).

What is your most memorable wedding?
I always get a buzz when it comes to transport! This has included running onto Marlow Bridge to pause the traffic and arranging with boat and bus companies for me to jump off early or late to capture photos 'on and off' to get the variety in storytelling that people think they'd need two photographers for!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, fun, candid, natural and timeless.
What about your business are you most proud of?
All of the kind words from couples make it rewarding as well as winning awards. My biggest achievement overall would be building my business from nothing after photographing a friend's wedding to earning living as a full time self-employed photographer.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
If you're at the early stages of planning view lots of real weddings to get ideas for the type of venue you like, wedding day season and decorations. Once your venue is booked choose your suppliers early to secure them for your day. With my photography you can finalise your choice of package and timings 2-3 months before your wedding.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love seeing all the creative table names linked to the couple's interests or wedding theme. Everything from places, castles, sporting venues, films, bands, Beatle's albums, flowers to reindeer names!

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Couples should always tell the photographer about any extended family or close friends who are important to them or have travelled halfway around the world to be there. Unique combinations like this wouldn't be on the photographer's group photo template list. I always run through couple's requests at a pre-wedding meeting.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I had to photograph the groom and groomsmen getting ready to catch a chandelier falling from the ceiling! The Groom was an Only Fools and Horses fan! No-one (or the venue!) was harmed in the making this photo!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Make the most of it! It can create fun opportunities with umbrellas etc. For all days when the ground is soft I'd recommend a change of shoes (colourful wellington boots) for the bride for going outside for portraits to avoid heels sinking.
Describe how you got into photography.
Inspired by my Infant school teacher, I always wanted a career in art. I chose to go down the photography route whilst in Sixth Form. I've been a professional photographer since I graduated back in 2005 and chose to specialise in portraiture as I love meeting people. Once I had photographed one wedding I loved it! I've now photographed over 100!
