Damion Mower Photography

We cannot thank Damion Mower enough for his beautiful photos taken on our incredible wedding day on 11th November 2017. Initially finding his name in Brides Magazine a couple of months after we got engaged, we looked up his website and instantly knew this was the guy to shoot our wedding. My husband and I met him for a drink in our local to discuss details and we were completely bowled over with the natural and elegant photos he had taken at other weddings. His prices were reasonable and very easy to select from the two packages available at the time. Damion is a real friendly chap and the pre-engagement shoot was a lot of fun at our ceremony venue. Having never done anything like this before and very much preferring to be assisting behind the camera rather than being in front of it, I was quite nervous if truth be told, but Damion put us (particularly me) at ease and really took the time to capture some lovely moments around the stunning Royal Holloway campus. We were so impressed with Damion both pre, during and post wedding and we couldn't have asked for more. The Queensberry albums he produces are also stunning and can be individually tailored to your specific wants and needs - it now takes pride of place in our living room and we can't help but show it off to our friends and family when they pop round for a cuppa (or something stronger!). Our advice for future brides and grooms? Go for it and go for Damion - you will not be disappointed!

If we were to describe Damion with three words it would be: personable, diligent and talented. Right from the initial video call all the way through the process was a sheer delight. It didn’t take us long to find Damion’s work online and his portfolio said it all. At that point, we decided that Damion was going to be our wedding photographer. He has a very reassuring and friendly personality which immediately put us at ease and one less thing to worry about on our big day. The engagement shoot was fantastic as it built our relationship with him and gave us a greater understanding of what we could expect on the big day. On the big day he was very discreet, organised and planned the day out perfectly. We received the photos when we were on our Honeymoon (which was perfectly timed). We loved the documentary style. Damion managed to capture every detail of the day, and all emotional moments. The Queensberry album was stunning. It was difficult to narrow them down as they were all so beautiful. We would like to thank Damion for all his hard work and being an exceptional example of a great wedding photographer.

Damion was a wonderful photographer. We felt relaxed around him from the moment we met him and he really captured every moment in a natural way. We love our photos and also our amazing leather bound photos album. We would highly recommend Damion.

Damien was exceptional from the start. His email correspondence and all correspondence for that matter was extremely professional and he really had a good sense of what we were after. What attracted us to Damien in the first place was the quality of his work which we saw through various example photo books that he had at the wedding fair in London. He was very friendly, relaxed, and we knew he was someone we would be able to work with very easily. He was excellent in directing the photos especially with a fairly large sized group and a very tight schedule. His candid style was just what we were looking for and everything has come out perfectly.

From the moment Sarah and I met Damion, we knew that he would deliver a high quality, professional service - but most importantly make us feel comfortable. He did a fantastic job on our engagement shoot, and him and Adam nailed our big day. They were calm, accommodating and very easy to work with - I (the groom) can just about remember having a drink and a laugh with them both at the end of the night! To top it off, the finished album is sensational. It perfectly encapsulates our wedding, and we would recommend Damion to anyone. Bonus point - Damion usually operates in an around London, but was generous enough to come all the way out to the Dorset Purbecks! Legend.

Damion did an absolutely fantastic job photographing our wedding. He was so easygoing and comfortable to be around on the day - by the end he felt like one of our guests! He has a real talent that's imperative but not always guaranteed in a wedding photographer: managing to be unobtrusive yet with the ability to command a room when needed, which is very important for the group shots! We couldn't have been happier with the photos - particularly given they were mostly inside or required artificial lighting, we were so impressed at the quality and beauty of the shots he got. His style is very natural, capturing all of the joy and emotion of the day on the faces of ourselves and our family and friends. Thank you Damion - you captured our day perfectly and we'll treasure our photos forever.

We initially met Damion at the Wedding Fair, and were hugely impressed with not only his range of images but the way he took the time to ask about our lives and what we had planned for our special day. Our whole experience of working with him was brilliant, from the way he relaxed us for our pre-wedding shoot to the way he quietly went about documenting the wedding without any fuss. We were very happy to have Damion as our wedding photographer. From the start he was so professional, incredibly hardworking and captured many great moments from our wedding day. We really enjoyed spending time with Damion throughout the time he worked with us – starting with a chat in a coffee shop, our pre-wedding shoot, on our wedding day itself, and during follow up meetings to discuss our album. We were particularly impressed with the amount of preparation that Damion undertook – checking the venues in advance, speaking with the priest and manager of our reception venue, and the amount of effort he put in working with us on the design of our album. When we first met Damion on Skype, I couldn’t believe how friendly and down to Earth he was. We just felt like we knew him already, and were just so excited for him to be our photographer. Our engagement shoot was cold and windy, but he was patient and persistent. We got some amazing shots and we’re so happy with them. The wedding photos were stunning! He just made us look happy, captured all those important moments, and it was fun and relaxed. The fireworks and sparklers were magical shots. A lot of his work has come after the wedding, where he has been able to deal with all my annoying requests and produced a beautiful wedding album. He puts in a lot of effort into his work and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect photographer! Very highly recommended.
