1st Class Wedding Photography & Videography

Firstly, ALL of our suppliers were amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of them, but given the circumstances the one I’m most grateful for was our videographer. Due to budget we almost didn’t have one but I love a wedding video so we kept looking (and ditched the photo booth) and were able to book @1stclassweddingphotography 🎥 and thank goodness we did! As the COVID situation got more serious in the lead up to our wedding we sadly had quite a few guests who were unable to join us. Then on the day of the wedding we were told we could only have two witnesses present for the ceremony. James and our venue worked quickly together to set up a live stream of our ceremony to a screen in the main hall (where our ceremony would originally have taken place) for all of our guests, plus an online live stream for the guests who couldn’t make it, and unmanned cameras for the actual wedding video! Whilst this wasn’t the original plan, many of our guests said it was better as they could see our faces during the ceremony and not just our backs! #marriedmay

James was fantastic at our wedding back in June. He really captured the day through our photographs and so many guests have commented how it was like reliving the whole day again when we looked through them. Really is a great guy that and so easy going, was a huge addition to our day. Thank you James! xx

Our wedding day was 26th April 2019 and we were very lucky to have James and Emma photograph our wedding. We first met James at a wedding fair held at our venue, he was very professional and helpful, we looked through his work and was abke to ask questions, we never felt rushed even though there were quite a few other couple waiting to speak with him, we left our details and he contacted us within a couple of days and we arranged an appt to discuss our needs, he was very thorough and we booked him. Fast forward to the day itself and we couldn't be more happy, James arrived at our hotel for bride prep and Emma at our home for groom prep, Emma was especially brilliant with our little boy and James was fantastic at the hotel, I was able to get ready without feeling conscious of a camera being there. After the church ceremony we stopped off and my nan and grandads as they were unable to attend due to ill health, as soon as James and Emma learned this they said they would also follow and I'm so grateful as we have beautiful pics of us with my nan & grandad. Both of them were so professional and courteous throughout the whole day and we were so pleased. We've received our photos back and WOW they are more beautiful than we could have imagined, we enjoying looking at them over and over. They've captured so many special moments and we can never thank them enough and will always Highly recommend

We would highly recommend 1st Class Wedding Photography! From the first phone calls we had with James where he understood what we wanted and asked questions about the venue, to how he coordinated everything on the day - we are immensely grateful! James' expertise and tips and the way he managed everyone just made things so smooth. There were just lots of little things that he thought of (e.g. lessons in cake cutting!) and the way he looked after the bridal party and guests to make sure everyone was looking their happiest and most relaxed was just so fantastic. We're really looking forward to getting our images soon so we can look back on the day :)

James was extremely honest and professional from the day we booked him as our photographer. We booked him due to the amazing photos we had seen at our wedding venue. On the day James and his colleagues were fantastic, we forgot they were there at times. We haven't received our photos yet but very much looking forward to seeing them 😊 We also hired our magic mirror from James which provided our guests with hours of fun! I would 100% recommend James as a wedding Photographer

We used 1st Class Wedding Photography for our wedding this year. I’m an event organiser full time, and myself and my now husband struggled to find time to meet with suppliers for our day - right from the start James made me feel so comfortable with booking his services from the day, I’m not an easy person to leave control to someone else and I had no trouble doing this with James. We described all the photos we wanted from our day - family shots were very important to us and he captured these all perfectly - I was amazed when we received all of our photos from the day, we relieved it all again! James came up with amazing photo ideas on site when we met the week of the wedding, we were married in a small church and had a big bbq in the evening, with marquee and hog roast. The location setting was on my friends farm at Slapton Manor - its a stunning countryside venue and the images we received back made the venue even Moreno fantastic, to the point my friend is using these for showing future couples around the venue! James met all of our needs and with our budget (we were on a tight one) and we had no issues at all, he even offered his brand new photo booth because he thought it would fit better with our venue - how many suppliers would just offer this and think of you and not profits, he even went on a tractor and lifted high up in the air (and he’s scared of heights) to get our entire wedding party in! Thank you James!!

We chose James as we had seen some examples of his work on the website of the venue we chose to get married, instantly we felt connected to his style just through images of other couples big day, there was no question whatsoever that we wanted to use James to capture our special day and wow he did not disappoint. On the day we felt completely at ease, James is artistic with his ideas and it was like he knew what would wow us. Once we received our edited images we were so quick to show our friends and family the pictures, we were more than proud to show them off. Absolute A* in our opinion, couldn’t have chosen a better photographer if we tried.

James was amazing when he photographed our wedding in August. So helpful, friendly and supportive throughout the whole day, we really couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience! Our guests commented on how great James was throughout our day. Our photos are amazing and we couldn't be more thrilled with the quality and shots that James took. I would highly recommend James, an excellent photographer!

Best photographer I could have asked for, great with all the guests and got some amazing shots when people didn’t even realise he was there. Arrived on time and knew exactly who to ask for help from whilst I was getting ready for the big day. Kept myself and the bridesmaids calm before walking down the aisle.

James was fantastic from the moment he arrived at my house on my wedding day... He was easy to talk to and very professional... He made us all feel at ease and half the time i didn't even notice he was there snapping away... He guided us through our day amazingly and in turn captured some fantastic photos... Highly recommend James..!!
