I invite prospective clients to a complimentary, private consultation at my home based studio. This informal meeting gives you the opportunity to see some of my work, to try the cakes and choose your favourite flavours. It also allows me to find out more about you as a couple, your vision for your wedding day and how we can design a cake centrepiece that is personal to you and your partner. Cake Couture wedding cakes are available in a variety of finishes: Iced - Sponge covered with Belgian chocolate ganache, then sugarpaste (fondant), smoothed to a sharp edge for a clean, contemporary look Buttercream - Sponge covered in buttercream for a silky smooth finish, rough and rustic or piped ruffles/ rosettes Semi-naked - Lightly frosted with visible cake layers Naked - Uniced sponge garnished with fresh fruit and/ or flowers and a dusting of icing sugar (optional) I also create customised dessert tables which can include cakes with a variety of finishes, cupcakes, cake pops, iced cookies, meringues and macarons. Cake stands, tableware and accessories are available for hire to display your cake/ dessert table at it’s very best. To ensure your experience is as stress free as possible, the seamless service at Cake Couture includes liaising with your wedding suppliers eg. florists, planners, stylists etc. and working with your wedding venue co-ordinator to schedule delivery and set-up of your cake. Delivery of wedding cakes is strongly recommended and is available to venues within a 90 mile radius of Bangor, Co. Down. Collection is also possible- details available on request.
