Hi, I’m Sophia and thanks for your interest in my listing. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to help a bride look and feel her best on her wedding day! I LOVE my job. :D I completely understand that it is a very stressful time for a woman in her life and there is a lot of pressure on brides now days and so much to do! Well leave some of it to me… I have been a make up artist since 2007 and have a lot of experience with brides on their trial and their wedding days. What is completely new and weird to you is natural to me and this is where I shine. My brides come to me from all walks of life and I get so many comments that not only do they love how they look and feel but I help to keep them calm through the chaos. I love it when they look in the mirror and I get a “wow, thank you” with a beaming smile on their face. It’s a warm moment I love to share with them. During your trial I will advise and use my expertise to help you with your make up and hair looks but above all else I will listen. Don’t be afraid to tell me what you like and don’t like I am very open. If you are nervous or apprehensive, please don’t worry, I will do my very best to help and we will get there together. I am here to help in any way I can. I stock my kit with the very best make up. I have used many brands in the past and through trial and error I now have a comprehensive kit of my favourite high performing brands, that will leave you looking and feeling amazing without feeling caked or like you are wearing a mask. I also only stock cruelty free brands and I do have a lot of vegan make up brands too. I try to be as environmentally and ethically responsible as possible. Myself and my family were attending my cousins beautiful wedding at Stubton. I didn't know the area at all, coming from Manchester, and desperately needed someone to do hair and make-up for myself and my 2 teenage daughters. I found Sophia through Google. She was extremely attentive, friendly and made our morning perfect. Not only did she do an amazing job with our hair and make-up, she helped navigate and time the day perfectly.
