Christiane Dowling Makeup Artistry

Christiane did mine, my mums and two of my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding on the 29th August, she did an absolutely amazing job. Christiane was very professional right from the first communication. At my trial she made me feel so comfortable and nothing was too much trouble, I didn’t really have any idea what style I wanted, and Christiane just went with it and I loved it so much. Christiane arrived super early on the wedding morning and took her time with each one of us, making sure everyone had exactly the look they wanted. I felt absolutely amazing all day long on my wedding day and I know my mum and bridesmaids did too. My makeup lasted all day and beyond and I didn’t need to touch up once. I fell asleep in my makeup, which I never usually do, but I woke up the next morning and my makeup was still perfect. Christiane was absolutely amazing from start to finish, right from the moment I got in touch with her. She was always happy to answer my (sometimes silly) questions and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Christiane, and I will certainly be returning for future special occasions.

Christiane did my wedding makeup and, as I look at the pictures, I realise that if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't choose anyone else but her.

This weekend was the second time I have used Christiane for make up. Once for a wedding a few months ago, and this bank holiday weekend for a festival. Her make up is flawless, and lasts really well. My husband said it was the best make up I have had done and I have been to several other local make up artists. Three of my friends also went to Christiane for make up the same morning and were very impressed. Thank you Christiane.

Christiane did the makeup for myself and my bridal party on the 24/05/19 and I cannot recommend her enough. She listened to what everyone wanted and made sure everyone was happy and felt comfortable. Me and two of my bridesmaids had a trial beforehand which was also great and allowed me to be 100% sure of what I wanted on the day. She is super friendly which made the whole morning a lot more relaxed. All of the bridal party had comments on how beautiful their make up was and it lasted all day and night (even with a lot of dancing). I cannot thank her enough! :)

I cannot stress enough how wonderful Christiane is. She did me and my bridesmaids’ makeup and we were all amazed at her talent. My bridesmaids all did not have very precise ideas of what they wanted, but for each of them she took on board their vague suggestions and came up with perfect outcomes. I had a makeup trial so I already knew what I was having, and on the day it was amazing. We all loved our makeup! And Christiane is really lovely!

I was so happy with my make up that Christiane done for me yesterday. Wish it could of lasted longer than a day. She knew what I wanted without me saying too much. I will be recommending Christiane to anyone that asks. Thanks again.

Christiane did my makeup for my daughters wedding in August this year and I was delighted with her work. So much so I booked a makeup lesson with Christiane which I had today. Christiane talks you through step by step and makes sure you have mastered the application before moving on to the next step. Christiane is calm informative and very helpful offering me to contact her for advice following the makeup lesson if I get stuck. I highly recommend Christiane for wedding and special occasion makeup.
