The house itself was impressive, with its wonderful history on display. With six spacious ensuite double bedrooms. We had great weather which meant we spent most our time in the beautiful garden/courtyard. The large dinning room and bar area meant we could have meals together and the kitchen was fully equipped for catering for bigger groups. Preston House is a perfect place for big groups with lots of free on street parking but also good public transport links and lots of things to do in walkin

From start to finish Preston House went above and beyond for our stay. No ask was ever too much and their communication was brilliant. They set everything up to allow us to have an amazing stay, and made things as relaxing and easy as possible. The perfect venue for any event. From the staff, location and the property. Everything was perfect.

What a wonderful venue for a party. Beautiful room, bathrooms and reception areas. We shared a special event with friends there recently and thought the whole place was fantastic. Owner is a gentleman who helped make everything run smoothly.

Superb customer service from initial contact to following up after our stay. The house, location and garden are all excellent. Perfect for the the family event we had planned. Loads of space, large bedroom, every bedroom en-suite and large kitchen space. Highly recommend for large party venue. Ross was an excellent host also.

A hidden gem in Abbeyleix. Preston House is a beautiful setting for any small group celebration. The house is stunning with spacious and beautiful facilities. So lovely to have such a historical house to call our own for the weekend. Ross is such a lovely host.

We had a really wonderful stay in Preston House. It's the perfect place for a group get together, spoilt for choice with the beautiful sitting rooms/ dining spaces downstairs and great facilities throughout.
